Indemnity & Waiver of Liability

 

By purchasing this ticket and/or ticking the acceptance box, I acknowledge and agree that:

I understand that trail running and outdoor fitness events are physically demanding activities that involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, uneven or unstable terrain, obstacles, wildlife, weather conditions, dehydration, collision with persons or objects, equipment failure, injury, permanent disability, illness, theft, loss of property, or death.

I confirm that I am medically fit, physically capable, and adequately prepared to participate in the event. I voluntarily choose to participate entirely at my own risk.

I hereby indemnify, release, and hold harmless In-Reach Lifestyle (Pty) Ltd, Monaghan Farm, the landowners, property management, sponsors, partners, contractors, volunteers, marshals, medical personnel, service providers, and any affiliated associates from any and all liability, claims, damages, losses, injuries (including serious injury, permanent disability, or death), theft, or expenses arising from or connected to my participation in the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted under South African law.

I acknowledge that neither In-Reach Lifestyle (Pty) Ltd, Monaghan Farm, nor any associated parties shall be held liable for any injury sustained or for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property before, during, or after the event.

I consent to receive emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary during the event and accept full responsibility for any medical or related costs incurred.

I grant permission for photographs, video recordings, or other media taken during the event to be used by the organisers for marketing, promotional, and communication purposes without compensation.

I agree to comply with all event rules, safety requirements, and instructions provided by race officials and event staff. The organisers reserve the right to remove any participant who fails to comply.

If entering a minor (under 18 years of age), I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor and provide full consent for their participation under these terms and conditions.

By proceeding with registration, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this indemnity and waiver.
